Meet Amber

I’ve spent 15 years leading teams, developing people, and helping growing technology companies navigate change.

I started my career on the operational side of tech, leading teams and complex projects. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to solving the people problems behind the work: helping leaders understand how they lead best, helping teams understand each other’s strengths and work better together, and bringing clarity and support to the People programs that matter most.

That became the focus of my career, and it’s the work I do today.

My frameworks are built from over a decade of operational experience inside some of the world's most innovative tech cultures and fully remote companies.

Metalab | Director of Projects & Director of L&D

During an eight-year tenure at this award-winning digital product agency, I sat on the leadership team during a phase of hyper-growth.

→ Was a part of the leadership team that scaled the organization from a tight-knit team of 30 to a global powerhouse of 150 people.

→ Built two departments from the ground up: Project Management and Learning & Development.

→ Steered project delivery for teams serving clients from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 giants, including Coinbase, Uber, Upwork, and Headspace.

Float | Team Experience

At the world’s #1 rated resource management platform, I led performance systems and leadership development across global time zones. I coached emerging leaders and built scalable performance frameworks to handle shifting organizational complexity in a 100% remote environment.

I hold a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources from Royal Roads University and bring CliftonStrengths into much of my coaching and team development work.

Everything I do today draws on that experience: understanding the realities leaders face, how teams actually work, and what it takes to build People practices that hold up under pressure.
